நடைபெற்ற உயர்தர பரீட்சையின் பெறுபேறு மற்றும் சாதாரண தர பரீட்சை நடத்துதல் தொடர்பில் கல்வி அமைச்சர் சுசில் பிரேம் ஜயந்த் தெரிவித்த விடயங்கள் கல்வி அமைச்சினால் ஊடக அறிவித்தலாக வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.

குறித்த ஊடக அறிவித்தலில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளதாவது...

க.பொ.த. (சா/த) பரீட்சை எதிர்வரும் மே மாத நடுப் பகுதியில் நடத்துவதற்கு பரீட்சை அட்டவணை ஏற்கனவே வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ள அதேவேளை நடைபெற்ற உயர்தர பரீட்சை பெறுபேறுகள் சாதாரண தர பரீடசை ஆரம்பமாவதற்கு முன்னர் வெளியிடுவதற்கான முடியுமான சகல முயற்சிகளும் எடுக்கப்படுவதாக கல்வி அமைச்சர் பேராசிரியர் சுசில் பிரேம் ஜயந்த தெரிவித்துள்ளார். 

கல்வி அமைச்சின் பிரதான கேட்போர் கூடத்தில் நடைபெற்ற நிகழ்வில் பிரதம அதிதியாக கலந்து உரையாற்றும்போதே அவர் இவ்வாறு தெரிவித்தார். 

அதேபோன்று விடைத்தாள் மதிப்பீட்டாளர்களின் கொடுப்பனவை அதிகரிப்பது தொடர்பில் நியமிக்கப்பட்ட ஒருங்கிணைந்த கமிட்டியின் அறிக்கை கிடைக்க பெற்றுள்ள அதேவேளை  எதிர்வரும் சில வாரங்களுக்குள் அதற்குரிய அனுமதியை பெறுவதற்குரிய நடவடிக்கைகளை மேற்கொள்வதாகவும் அவர் மேலும் தெரிவித்தார். 

சாதாரண தர மதிப்பீட்டாளர்கள் 35,000 பேர் மற்றும் உயர்தர பரீட்சை மதிப்பீட்டாளர்கள் 19,000 அளவில் இருக்கின்ற அதேவேளை இவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் பொருத்தமான முறையில் இயலுமானவரை கொடுப்பனவை அதிகரிப்பதற்கு தான் எதிர்பார்ப்பதாக அவர் தெரிவித்தார். 

எதிர்வரும் ஜனாதிபதி தேர்தல் நடத்துவது தொடர்பில் கருத்து வெளியிட்ட கல்வி அமைச்சர் சுசில் பிரேம் ஜயந்த, இந்த வருடத்திற்கு சட்டரீதியாக பணம் ஒதுக்கப்பட்டிருப்பது ஜனாதிபதி தேர்தலுக்குத்தான். பாராளுமன்ற தேர்தலுக்கு அல்ல என்றார்.
